Thisss is why I'm saying companies should have like quotas for recent US college grads. We are so disadvantaged, and unlike older more experienced people, the consequences of us not getting jobs are so much more serious (like homelessness. Straight out of college you haven't had the time to build up wealth like others)

Or at least huge incentives for hiring more recent grads

We (not a grad yet but, We have to compete with older experienced workers, cheap foreign labor/outsourcing, visa holders who usually come with deep pockets, and AI all at once. I don't think any other job field is THIS competitive for people straight out of college

I’m lucky I have parents largely supporting me. But I can’t imagine having started your degree 4 years ago, taking out loans for out of state, then graduating into this market.
