You have a chance if you do more than just submit resumes. Network and get to know people

If you go military you’ll likely go Air Force. Take the ASVAB to see your option for all branches, then go from there

Ok well, if you go military you’ll be WORSE off. You might have more immediate job prospects but you will have to get a lobotomy if you aren’t willing to develop a substance abuse problem.

You might just need to change majors or schools. In which case you should either drop early enough that there aren’t consequences to your financial aid or your transcript, or do your best to make more financial aid and improve your transcript.

You can always pivot into non military options. I'm a senior pivoting into k-12 ed. I'm getting a free masters and a pension at age 56 if I stick with it.

Also consider the likelihood of us going to war in the next few years. Nobody knows if anything will actually happen but global tension is building up. Watch the news for a few weeks before talking to recruiters

This is why I didn’t go. I would crush as a water policeman (coast guard) but I don’t actually want to participate in war

Way harder when out of college. Even in college all the job fairs were way too crowded and could barely talk to two companies

and the fact that where I’m from is mostly blue collar and first responders, don’t have the natural connections. Always jealous when people say they got a job from their neighbor. I’m fucked
