opinions on doing comp sci grad school? is it worth delaying a job for a masters? will it help me at some point in the future?

If you’re school has a an accelerated combined bachelors/masters program it’s worth it imo. Only takes 1 year.

Yeah I’ll give you more of a leg up in interviews! Still try to get internships or possibly work part time during your summers in tech though.

yeah this is what i’m thinking too. although i’m interning at a faang company this year and my mentors there are telling me that a year of experience at a faang company trumps a masters any day.

that being said, that’s a short term advantage. but if i can do another internship next summer and return the year after i’m wondering if the masters will give me more of a leg up in the long run
