I recommend if you want to code- just code, maybe the college comes later and there’s nothing wrong with that but most SE jobs require experience over the degree. CS has a lot of theory and is more academic while SE is more practical if you’re stuck between degree choices

I know that I am late to this, but honestly do what you enjoy, for full stack that would be comp sci, and always be optimistic, and don’t let doomers get to you. More likely then not there will be an internal collapse from the lack onboarding of new people, and within a few years you will see more jobs open up. Remember they have been saying that “ai will replace us” for the last 5 years. Keep your head up stay confident and do what you enjoy!
