I used to be a functional programming hater, but there are certain types of projects where it’s the only solution that makes logical sense. Especially really simple tools, and things that the output needs to be the same every time if it’s the same input.

not sure if all functional programming languages (SML at my school) care a lot about type, but it is nice because it’s easy to see where u go wrong. i just hate studying for the exam and i lowkey failed :(.
