Hey guys, how y’all try your best not to use ChatGPT for assignments? It’s getting to bad but so far I have started my assignments early to reduce the use of it. But anyone else got some good advice instead of just quitting cold turkey?

I legit just think about that one community in (Seattle?) that’s getting absolutely fucked, it’s kept me off of chatgpt and also spite that I’m probably better than my classmates if i don’t use

Honestly depends on the situation but if you have a good professor, talk to them and come clean. Like "I'm trying to avoid chatgpt but it's been really tempting. I'm worried I'm getting left behind if I don't use it. Would it be rude if I worked on my assignments during office hours with you and the TA so I can ask a human when I'm stuck instead?"

Okay so I decided to do this, I didn’t tell them but it’s actually been helping cause when I go work in the office I can’t use it since there’s ppl around and I just end up having ask instead. Thanks !!
