because Palantir is actively targeting civilians and putting peoples’ lives at risk. additionally, there are ties between Palantir and descendants of the third reich. for example: the ceo of the UK branch of Palantir is the grandchild of Oswald Mosley, who founded the “British union of fascists” in 1932 and essentially acted as a UK-based ally for Hitler and Mussolini. that’s without even discussing the fucked up shit with Peter thiel too.

because you don’t know if they’re going to succeed, and you don’t have to help them along the way. that is not a matter of feeling superior, it’s a matter of doing the right thing. Do you think the allies fought the third reich to merely “feel superior”? the average nazi worked for the third reich out of their own selfish benefit and apathetic disregard for the impact on those being targeted by the regime. do you not see how the same is applicable here?

it is not a matter of being a “high horse” or “superior”, it’s a matter of being decent human being with care for others. choosing to work for Palantir and support their goals, is choosing a side. the financial stability is no excuse, just as it wasn’t for the perpetrators of the holocaust, or of the South African apartheid. Choosing to work for neonazis who do not try to hide their beliefs, is a reflection on you.

need I remind you of thiel’s “dialog” organization? His world war 3 prepping group of billionaires? you’re actively putting yourself and others in harms way by furthering the goals of Palantir. short-term perceived financial stability does not justify that in the slightest.

I agree with everything you say, and I think your point still stands, but I think the average Nazi was more so brainwashed than anything else into doing the heinous acts for the Nazi regime

tbh I agree with your point as well, and it’s a very important topic of discussion; future historians will likely use the modern iteration in the United States as a case study to better understand how the third reich rose to power in 20th century, due to how we have much more documentation this time around. I was a bit too reductive in stating that the average nazi worked merely out of selfishness and apathy, as a lot of that behavior was rooted in being conditioned to favor the regime
