I don’t think market is really cooked so to speak. I think we’re going through a very weird time. The bottom line is it’s just not that easy anymore. Everyone is really a dime a dozen and it takes time to become a stand out candidate.

If people would stop applying to tech companies or only applying to swe they’d realize things are hard but not nearly as bad as they think

yeah if you know your stuff and are willing to apply to places that aren’t fortune 500 tech megagiants you’ll be fine. Also don’t be afraid to apply to places you aren’t fully qualified for if you hit at least 50% of what they want go for it

Every entry level job on LinkedIn at least in the greater Seattle area has around 1-2k applications within 24 hours of posting 😭
