I thought going to a T4 CS school would help me in this market. It is seemingly still cooked. Can’t imagine how everyone else is doing ngl.

I go to Washington State University, and it's hella cooked here. My saving grace was the one big engineering company located in the same city hiring me but I can't imagine other schools who have nothing local. Our job fairs are so lackluster despite our CS program being pretty alright, I don't even bother going cause no better companies than where I work even go

Recent-ish grad here. Let go in April. Unemployment runs out in 3 weeks. I still live the college lifestyle, so I got 2 years of savings before I’m cooked, but this is about as fun as a root canal!

I feel that honestly the job fairs are quite good, but usually it doesn’t feel worth it to me to go to the general events, and I only really go to the smaller/company invite events. The job fairs are just a lot of graduate students from the best universities in India (and our grad school is way larger than our undergrad), and it feels hard to compete as an undergrad in this environment. I highkey wish there was an undergrad career fair.
