My professor spoke on this a little. Seems to be going in the direction of the former scenario. With people “getting” AI GFs and BFs 😭.

AI is a computational superpower. LLM’s enable a level of windowed analysis that is incomprehensible to the human mind, at the same time it can only complement human comprehension. The smart will thrive and the weak will grow dependent at best, or fall behind. Regardless it will revolutionize the world and society.

Ideally AI will make people think more critically about what they see online. But at the same time it will be easier to dismiss something as “fake”. It’s a bit of a pickle really
