the company i interned at still has legacy systems fully in COBOL. i feel like learning COBOL to modernize those is a good idea. i was doing ml stuff, but i just heard about it

I found a 1969 CS textbook and have been learning Fortran out of it for fun. Some of the comments in the book are wild. It lowkey had a section that predicted the online system of credit cards
