starting an internship at tech made me realize how results-focused it is in silicon valley… my boss literally told me i can just come in for free lunch as long as i finish my project by the end of the summer 😭

This is probably true, I’m interning at a pretty large company that’s been around a while so they have established roles, procedures, workflows, tools, etc and everyone just kinda does their job, but I can see that it would probably be more intense at like a startup
