idk anything about game dev but i did web dev. i feel like you could honestly teach yourself through a course online for less $$ and time. but i said dont do it bc the market is horrible rn haha

Honestly I’m scared cuz of the market but idk I feel like in 4-6 years I’ll be able to secure a job 😅or at the very least be able to do what I want I have hope, I’m trying to be realistic but not block my dreams

Same. It’s not too necessary but for game dev it might be helpful, but I’m pretty sure the engines do all the heavy math for you.

math plays a big part in programming. if you’re going back to school for anything computer science related you’ll be taking lots of math. not really a way around it. the math helps you understand algorithms better
