To be clear, my opportunity is a very big exception to the rule. I don’t think many places will offer this for a new grad, I think it’s simply because I’ve interned here twice. My salary will be $90k a year

Found you! It all depends on location. I live in the rural part of Maine. Yeah, it’s nicer than up north, but we dont have much tech presence, and our cost of living is lower as compared to other states (although it’s rising pretty fast in some areas). $90k is good for an entry level tech job when the average is $53k a year.
