just finished sophomore year, tbh i would actually apply for the sophomore year programs (emerging leaders goldman sachs, meta u). i applied to two, but definitely not all of them

Don’t regret too much, it’s preety hard to get into these programs unless ur father works in the bay or you go to a target school and have a billion ai projects on ur resume

The difference is that in computer engineering you get to learn about hardware and how to do embedded systems where hardware and software come together. You get a practice of both where in the real world it opens more doors for you because it shows you are able to take on a strictly software position or a hardware position or both aka embedded engineer that works both hardware and software. So yeah just opens more doors. Like rn with all the software position disappearing you can apply for an em
