i sometimes do it because my mind palace is vast but i prefer totally throwing myself into one book at a time

i pair books so ill have one fiction book and one nonfiction book. for example, ill read like a historical romance and pair it with a nonfiction book that details the actual history of the time

Same as 2 I typically have a nonfiction and a fiction book so if I’m feeling like I need to not think as much or not worry about plot I switch to the nonfiction

ugh i love doing that. i can do a nonfiction and fiction no problem, but two fiction is def less preferable

two fiction would overstimulate me lol i need to really be able to delve into the story. whereas i can read multiple nonfictions books at once and still retain information
