Yeah that’s a huge mistake. Don’t let him do something that will negatively affect both of your futures

Update: I talked with him about it & he said he’s struggling with his mental health & that he doesn’t think he can afford to pay for next semester & his grades are basically all F’s rn, & that he can’t afford an additional semester to retake all the classes he’s failing rn. He said that he’s planning on applying for an apprenticeship in the elevator industry
