Every time I see something about the easiest/hardest language to learn, it’s always from the perspective of someone who knows a certain language. I wanna know the hardest/easiest languages to learn period. What has the easiest rules? Sounds? For a baby

Like ‘what’s easiest for the native English speaker is different from the native French speaker’ like okay cool that’s not what I wanna know though. English is stupid as fuck. “Rules” with a gazillion exceptions, verb conjugations that make no sense. So it’s probably not English. But idk all the languages so it’s not like I could know it myself without doing extensive research. I’m just curious, I don’t wanna know THAT bad

No I’ve been thinking about this too. I’ve been doing a language exchange with a native Spanish speaker learning English & I’ve been kind of finding out how hard English is. Phrasal verbs are crazy. Asf
