It actually wasn’t at first. It was actually a really great country. It all fell apart with political parties. Then that’s when it was more about one party against the other. It’s also not working as intended because Trump has had no repercussions for everything he has done. Our government is trash
No it’s not. They don’t need a ballroom and they’re taking the east wing which is definitely a large part. They plan 90k sq ft, the white house itself is 55k. They have a budget of nearly 250 million dollars which they claim is through private donors, obviously this is a big project.
Yk what that’s a great way of looking at it because it’s honestly idealistic to think this administration would have done something good lmao. But also I think him being allowed to just tear something down is exactly the problem. Especially the part where he essentially says “well I’m the president so I’m just going to do it” when he was asked about zoning for the ballroom. I definitely see your point and I agree I just think this is bigger than just a wall being torn down.
Private funds are private funds. Presidents are allowed to do what he is doing. Why would you care about a trivial matter when millions of actual tax dollars are being stolen on a daily basis. That’s akin to being upset there is a steak on the window if your new car, but the entire engine is missing
