I avoid it unless they ask and I’m like “things are going pretty well” and don’t share too many details. But it’d be nice to be able to be transparent with my friends about my life

they should be able to talk to their friends about their job sometimes. obvs theres a limit to not being like HAHA UR JOB SUCKS MINE IS GREAT, but you should be allowed to talk about your life to your friends

its like not being able to talk about how you spent the day with your mom with someone who isnt close with their mom
