I just left my abusive relationship. I hope I don’t go back.

The strength within you, and and strength you gathered, the struggles and bad times, the reason why you left, let them be stronger than comfort, feelings or attachments. One doesn’t love an abuser one becomes co dependent which is exactly how they want you in order to manipulate, control and exploit you more

that takes an insane amount of inner strength that a lot of ppl (urself included) dont even really recognize, especially when it comes to keeping urself away but itll get easier over time. whenever u feel the urge to go back PLS reach out to someone who knows abt ur situation & they can try to remind u of why u left (ur brain tends to try to make u forget or rationalize why it "wasnt that bad" when it really was) & ull get through it to the other side better than ever i PROMISE

been there. leaving for good was the best decision i’ve ever made. please stay strong, get a therapist, find a hobby, anything to keep your mind off of that toxic relationship. remove from socials, block numbers, etc it’s time for a fresh start and you deserve it!
