They don’t get that the whole point of immigration for these people is that their home country doesn’t have the kinds of opportunities necessary to support their families

I’m confused. Why are they so nationalistic of their home country then when it was so bad they had to abandon it to have a better life here? No disrespect but if America was like other places and I left I wouldn’t want to identify with it at all.

Probably because they enjoy other things about their country

Our country is governed by cannibals and pedophiles and a large portion of our population can’t find jobs or afford their food or medicine yet they still wave American flags around

I guess that makes sense but why not stay over there then and try to better their country? I swear I am not trying to rage bait I’m just genuinely curious about other peoples prospectives.

I agree our country has it issues and I am very against what’s happening but I want to change it not abandon it.

I’m gonna keep it real with you it should be common sense why a random poor citizen doesn’t have the power to create stable jobs for themselves and fix their countries entire economy

My point is it’s not one citizens tho it’s millions and millions of people. economies are based on consumers willingness to purchase things. But if the issue is the government revolt. That has happened countless times Through history even America revolted against the British empire. I know their lives are shitty but fixing a country is group effort if everyone flees, a new country just has to take care of them which is what’s happening now.

A country is supposed to take care of its people yes

I agree and if it doesn’t that’s when you revolt. fleeing just causes new country’s more harm which is why every country has strict illegal immigration laws.

Feel free to revolt against our government if you wish, you’ll soon find out that revolutions aren’t always possible

I guess but it shouldn’t be my countries responsibility to fix other countries problems.

Personally I think that America should completely stop playing world police and let other countries fix their own messes.

Revolt against the government so you can change that then, there are others who agree with you

Revolting isn’t necessary since there are other ways to change it right now. But if the government got tyrannical I would in a heartbeat

It already is tyrannical

It’s not as much as the media wants to make it out to be it isn’t. Tyrannical is like North Korea or Venezuela. We have the constitution to protect us from tyranny. And if it got like those other countries millions of Americans would stand up to defend it. But right now it’s not to that point so we vote, petition and protest as well as talk to representatives to better our country.

I feel for those other people I really do but it’s not possible for us to save them when we are struggling ourselves. A lot of things need to change I agree and it can’t start by allocating resources from American citizens to illegals
