sometimes blood doesn’t have to to mean family.
just because we share genetics with people doesn’t mean we’re tied to them… something i learned the the hard way
I’m so sick of constantly cleaning up my family’s messes just to get told I have an attitude problem. It’s so frustrating and I can’t stop myself from helping them or giving them money/ whatever they need.
i wanna make sure im not encouraging giving up on your traditional family member. but remember whose there for you , versus whose there because they’re “blood”

^^^^ I have some blood family that I’ll probably never see or talk to again and that’s fine. Your family is who you make it. I have a friend in my class that’s been more of family to me than my own

Thats completely understandable. But you’re not the family punching bag and you shouldn’t have to feel like you don’t matter.
