I'm a man I have been in love before. I did as much and more for my Olive. When we broke up it was because she said "I don't want kids, I want to get fat, and I want to live in Ohio forever"... I had been working since before we were dating on getting into a program in Boston. We regularly worked out together, and babysat my cousins. I thought she wanted the same future as me. She didn't. I'm still broken from it, it's been years

But to be fair. Being in love with someone for a single day is worth it, and we had 5 years. I cannot imagine the loss of having skipped those 5 years, and to have died having never been in that place. Nothing can really hurt me more than that now, and I got to really live. Honestly very much worth opening up your heart. I have not started dating again yet, but I'll try someday

This actually made me cry. And I hate that those five years didn’t end the way you were hoping for. You honestly seem like someone worth having in your corner
