The guy literally said that occasional gun violence is a good thing in response to 3 CHRISTIAN children being murdered in a shooting. This was no god loving man but a god fearing one, he was trying to twist your religion to his politics and conservatives were eating it up. Respect to his family and the witnesses for that experience but he was a monster in human skin and becoming a father doesn’t magically make you a good person, it takes other unrelated traits for that lol

The women who have to carry a reminder of being raped for 9 months disagree. Do you know what its like to have a reminder of your rape with you 24/7, drastically changing your life and body for 9 months straight? Not to mention potentially having to going custody battles with your rapist- cause that has happened. Avoiding all of that suffering makes a lot of women’s lives a lot better.

It is accurate. Very few see it as a gratifying experience. The ones that do are usually pressured by religious beliefs and never seek proper treatment for their trauma. For example, the rape victims of the FLDS. They felt it was gratifying because they were groomed into believing it was god’s will.

Family can mean everything for a lot of people, that doesn’t mean their attachment style is healthy. If you want to discuss the conditions of living and what lead them to take their own life we can but saying there are gun deaths in prisons is totally unfounded and not a matter of discussion because it’s not based on anything.

The literal minor? The ten year old? No not at that age. If it’s an adult or 16 year old that’s a different conversation but a 10 year old does not have the capacity to make that decision. Rape is horrific and should never happen but I stand by parental authority over children. That goes both ways too though

Anonymous replying to -> #38 1w

So the child is too young to decide things for herself but old enough to go through pregnancy, an irreversible change in biology and hormones? Might as well allow arranged marriages with 10 year olds at that point lmao. And what about if the child protests against her parents? Are you then going to defend the parents for forcing their kid to remain pregnant? You’re walking a very slippery slope I hope you realize

The child can take the steps to emancipate themselves. You’re entitled to your opinion but I respect parents right to do what they think best for their child. I understand why forcing a child through pregnancy seems horrific but if like me you believe the child inside the womb is alive there’s another person to think about. But I don’t think this should be the primary standard for abortion as most children/fetuses aren’t conceived in rape.
