Notice how "fatherless," “single mother," and “daddy issues" are used as insults toward women, even though they're all examples of a man's failures.

And if a man is an ass he’ll be called a “son a bitch” which like is an insult to his mother not him?

Fatherless, definitely Single mother really depends. Yes, the man failed, but in many cases the woman does too Daddy Issues is so broad. The dad COULD be a failure, but it could also very well be the child as well

It could be a failure on either end or both, no? I’m just saying to reduce it to 1 person being at fault in all cases is an oversimplification.

Well you do have to recognize that it takes two to tango. Obviously there are different cases where it’s both certain men and certain woman should have never procreated and woman who severely treat their partner. But for the men that just leave, no honor and shame will follow them

People have “daddy issues” often because he wouldn’t let them get a septum piercing. It’s usually not that deep but kids get caught in the “nobody understands me” phase.

that’s not daddy issues then lmao. daddy issues stem from having an absent, neglectful, or abusive relationship with your father. just cus the child calls it that because they’re upset doesn’t make it true.

The majority of single mothers are the parents who chose to stay and show up for their kids. Not bad people.

It’s weird to assume right off the bat that a single mother failed, and default to the male parent being a good person. Fathers are far more likely to abandon their children and are the perpetrators of most domestic/sexual violence, compared to mothers. Obviously women make the same mistakes. But your logic is weird. A single parent, regardless of gender, is usually the parent who chose to stay.

The single parent wins by staying, but loses either by sleeping around senselessly or sleeping with the wrong people. In many cases it’s a preventable issue. If you actually read what I said, I never assumed right off the bat that the single mother failed. I actually said that in almost every case (the outliers would be sudden death) the father fails.

Dude, I read everything and I just don’t agree with you. You lost me at the your slut-shaming first paragraph. Go touch some grass and respect that people can sleep with whoever they want.

Sleeping around is not a good thing 😂 Not only for women, but for men Kudos to the women who keep the children But for men AND women, if you’re not ready to bear the consequences of your actions, then don’t have sex

Yea but there are also plenty of people that choose to have kids because they want them, not because they think they’ll give them a good childhood. This goes for couples too. I know plenty of people that rushed into having kids because they want to be young parents and a little more in touch per se— not realizing how much money kids cost. Plenty of people in my area working fast food jobs, living in trailer parks, who just keep popping out more kids when they can’t afford the ones they have
