If they want to dress slutty, that’s also the correct choice for them. I think you’re wrong for saying women should choose to be modest if women want to be treated with dignity because I think people should just be respectful to people. Actually in countries where women are forced to cover up their entire bodies, they get assaulted and objectified much more and have much less rights. There is a direct correlation of women being treated better and how normalized it is for them to dress more revealing. Also whatever way someone chooses to present themselves does not invite the actions of other people. If you believe otherwise, you’re not someone I’d trust around my drink

there is some truth to your argument, but i would say it’s a 50/50, i invest just as much time into being well read and pursuing academic interests as i do on my appearance, but that hasn’t always been the case

And I’m just asking what she’s trying to show. Intelligence can be harder to show and thus harder to appreciate or be recognized for. You have to actively think about how to share that vs societally it’s easier to show attractiveness
