And I get dark romance isn’t for everyone and this isn’t about that it’s genuinely people using dark romance to defend their lack of asking consent at events or using it to try and justify horrible behavior/ things they do/write….there is a line between dark romance and horrible people and actions and I feel like the people using it as an excuse are creating an unsafe space for people who enjoy the books.
