Shame is a tool for control, religion has been historically wielded to force women into servitude. If your religions teachings is making you feel shame for the natural process of your body then I advise you to look deeper into other avenues of Christianity at the very least. there are ways to follow god and not the human men who shaped and “interpreted” the religion into a beneficial for them system. I know this might sound ridiculous and I’m sure the men in your church are nice and all..
