at the end of the day, a trans women doesn't have a period, doesn't ovulate, won't be able to give birth or lactate. and that doesn't make them less of a woman. you just cannot do those things if you don't have a uterus.

lactation is possible albeit rare and very difficult; periods are different but there have been consistent reports of hormonal cycles that align with the menstrual cycle in trans women on HRT; it’s not the same but it’s a phenomenon that does happen, whether you consider it to be the same as a period or not
