To my future family! I hope you’re proud of me! I’m trying hard to impress you all. It’s really hard out here tho. Sometime I feel like I’m a balloon labeled ‘goodness.’ The universe keeps pumping and forcing me to expand and grow. I don’t want to pop.

I did mess up a little yesterday, and I’m trying to give myself grace. I know that I did what I did without shame because it felt like the right thing to do for my healing. I wish healing was linear. Every day I worry if I’m straying further from being the woman I dreamed of to the happy little imaginary family I have created. I know I’m young and I still have time and I should be true to myself at all times. I know there is no reward in holding back. However, I just… idk I feel lacking

In this life I have made peace with not yet receiving what I give. I keep giving tho because I want to encourage my future daughter to feel like seeking out growth, confidence, and self-love is normal. I try to be the light for everyone else, and I think that I have been. I hate that I’m often hurt in the process and, I worry that I will not find my own light in the darkness. There is no reward in suffering—I know better that than anyone. But is the pain all I have? Who am I without it?

Would I still be lovely if not for it? Would people still admire me and consider me special if I didn’t suffer? I don’t think so. I have grown to say I truly love myself and I’m excited for my future dream family to meet me. However, part of me is also sick of constantly choosing to be my authentic self and hoping for acceptance. It makes rejection so much harder when you give your all and only surface level accountability is taken, or you just have to make peace with being considered strange,

Unnecessary, or a poorly designed match. I don’t want me or my efforts to be watered down, but I can’t control that. I’m so sick of this constant state of inflation. I just want the pressure to stop. I’m sick of always doing it alone, but who else can make me and my future family happy? I give and give, but can I really do it alone? I ask myself this more as I come to terms with the lack of people striving towards greatness, and it try hard to not let it rub off on me.

Despite that, I comfort mediocrity bcs I believe it needs the comfort to get the courage to be great. However, as strongly as I believed in the greatness, mediocrity rejects it just as much. I was stuck. Then I messed up. I don’t want to be stuck again, but I can’t promise I wont. I want to gift more than I had and find greatness internally + externally first. I want to meet you more than anything and so Im determined to see you to fruition, but this process and constant climb is so exhausting.
