Yeah it means it affected the present, but acknowledging that doesn't mean pointing fingers. We gotta work together to fix the disparities

Nothing I said was about me. I explicitly validated that historical impacts and wounds are real. Wanting to address those wounds through action isn't brushing history off, it's treating it as something that needs fixing, not just talking about
