I’m referring to situations where people have fallen for me, but I made the mistake of never taking their feelings seriously. I never believed that someone could ever actually care about me, and that any attraction to me was a joke or purely surface level. So, I thought no one could ever get hurt by me not taking that attraction seriously. But I learned yesterday that apparently I’ve really hurt at least 3 people by acting this way, which was a shock to me. I didn’t know they truly cared.
