i work overnight food and bev for target, my hours definitely dont compare to yours because mine is 8 BUT! getting your rest in every day after the shift is super duper important, make sure your bed and room is dark enough with some good fans and have an eye mask to make sure its mostly dark when you sleep, and clear out 8 hours for you to get that rest

i noticed since i started working and when im not getting my full rest, my body is exhausted and my room starts to clutter around me because i just don’t have the energy. so definitely try to get as much rest and grace for yourself when you can, especially while you’re working

& on your time off, definitely just get as much rest as you can and hang out with your friends if you can or do things around your house like a deep clean & putting on some music or stretching your body (definitely do this before you work too if you can)

overall, prioritize your physical well being during the time and getting the rest you deserve & need. it can be so mentally straining and exhausting having to take care of yourself and others in your life when you’re working and don’t have the time, so try to slow yourself down and give yourself the care you need when you can! you deserve it :)
