got beat as a 12 year old because my parents found out i was gay and then they proceeded to monitor every aspect of my life. we’re talking cameras and deep phone checks and no hanging out with the same sex alone and of course they also introduced me to a guy who used to work in conversion therapy. yelling was definitely involved on the daily.
