if im ordering for myself i’ll say “hold on im about to order” and they’ll do something else while they wait, it’s that simple

Yeah I’m a medical assistant and if I’m working you up and you take a call and tell ME to hold on and proceed to talk on the phone with no urgency I literally walk out.

literally it’s not that hard. People will continue to talk on the phone and WHISPER their order to me and then they roll their eyes when i have to ask them questions
