As someone who literally has a disability it sucks and I’m not going to be a parent because what I have will pass it onto my children and I already suffer from a lot of pain I don’t want to do that to a kid so yes I’m not going to be a parent. And no being disabled isn’t a good thing??? What are you taking about

If you plan to have a kid knowing you have no prior health conditions and it still comes out disabled that’s something everyone should be prepared for because anything can happen. But purposely bringing a child into the world with a health issue you know will pass down is selfish. It ruined my quality of life it’s horrible to do that

Their refusal to learn isn’t our issue to correct. The work’s been done, they have to take up the mantle. Being disabled can absolutely suck, but it’s not the end of the world and it’s nothing to be ashamed of and I’m tired of people making it seem like it is.
