Every creature on earth prefers to be with similar looking creatures with similar traits. The white moths hang out with the white moths. The red birds hang with red birds. Similarity is comfort. Treating people poorly for being different is one thing, preferring to be around those who you identify with is completely natural. And no amount of downvotes will change that 🤪

I believe that seeking out people like you is a human trait, but racism isn’t just oh I’m seeking out people similar to me but being hurtful towards those who aren’t similar in one specific way. I think that as humans we have higher intelligence and try to seek people emotionally similar to us more than physically similar and we aren’t run based on primal instincts either. We are also predators so our behavior and instincts are different than prey like moths where blending in is detrimental to
