Of course I have immense respect for MLK Jr, but his movement was based more around outreach and publicity. As it should have, notably, as per the lack of representation from people of African descent at the time. Charlie Kirk had comparable achievements in civic organization but is known most prominently for his extensive investment in public rhetoric.
