Real it's so repetitive, at least school has variation since you're always learning different things (even if the study grind is overall also repetitive)

Exactly. At least there’s some sort of interaction in school, the social environment is a lot better too. Work feels like jail

If I go the PhD route my life is also like jail. I'm in biochem so idk how valuable getting masters is. I was trying to do an industry internship in pharmacology and I've been shocked by how boring it is since I took a pharma class and it was really interesting.

Only real alternative to all this is med school but I never really had a goal to be a doctor. I just liked science and it's led me to a bunch of underwhelming options.

I think the classes I take are mostly really nice but then there's just such a disconnect to the career side. It's like no one actually uses all this cool shit in the real world.
