The current societal issue is too many do not want to, and that number grows. It is not anyone’s duty to have kids, that being said, with this current trend, society will collapse.

Dead ass I never cared. Almost everyone I know either pregnant for the 3rd time or got like 4-5 kids anyway. If people are truly not having kids they suck at it

well i agree but i think the people who are having kids without trying to will eventually be the majority and they’re not gonna raise very quality children. but whatever. more stupid people in the world only makes me smarter by comparison. my siblings are both gonna have kids so i’m not worried about having someone to make a plan for me when im old. they can put me in a nursing home let me watch movies go to dinner and play bingo every friday i’ll be happy as pig in shit

i’m not having children bc i don’t want to get married and im asexual and i think the world is fucked up and i don’t have the energy to explain why that is to my kids. but thank god for the people who do and who want to create more good people. i truly respect them. also im mentally ill as shit and i can barely handle my own stuff let alone a child who has the same issues as me and less emotional control over themselves.

That’s so real. I never wanted kids since I was a kid, i got to realize that fast because I’m a girl trust. But I’m uncomfortable around them, they easily piss me off, I’d rather have a dog and friends for the rest of my life or be an auntie or something so I don’t have to deal with the kids 24/7. Plus sadly a lot of men in my life haven’t been the best role models when it comes to fatherhood or being a husband. I’m content to just be childless while married or happily single.
