It’s definitely reflective of modern society and how we want to present ourselves to others. Some partners like that their SO is showing them off, making them feel desired and that they’re proud to be someone’s love It’s really about compromise. I wouldn’t mind if my partner wanted me to do that for her if we’re in a happy relationship and she’s actually communicating what she wants. If it’s that big a deal, ask them to do the same or something of equal value

I won’t deny some people are insane about it, but sometimes it’s just a minor request. Put her on your story or make a post of you two being together on vacation. It can be heartwarming actually. It’s wonderful to make them feel wanted and desired. Anyone can agree with that Talk it out with them and find a middle ground. Simple as
