Stop bringing food, if they bring it up say “oh sorry, you never thanked me all the other times so I thought you were trying to politely tell me not to do it anymore.”

The situation is a bit different, where I work, a lot of good food has to get wasted for many reasons, and sometimes i'll bring salvage home, nobody has thanked me yet eats it

I have a really hard time throwing good food away, as too many of my coworkers. But you make a point
