Well if sqautters took over my house, I’d throw all their stuff out, burn it all and pick them up and throw them out

Pretty honest reaction but that law is put in place so no land Lord can do the same to you

I’m a landlord, and I own a property, but if sqautters broke in to my home I have every right to burn all their stuff and force them out

I only charge my friends £550 a month. They should pay way more really but my friends say no lol. I’m not a proper landlord, I just rent a room to my fat ass friends

Why not try to understand why they’re homeless and help out a bit if you have money to have multiple properties? If your friend can have 550 a month let someone who has nothing have atleast a month to get better

I don’t have multiple properties, I bought my home and I leg my friend rent a room with her husband. That’s it. I’m not an actual landlord. I’m just a kind friend

Then why are you worried about squatters and giving a bad name to something that doesn’t happen to you?

Because I watched a program about sqautters and it made me want to throw a brick through the TV. This poor old woman was in hospital and sqautters broke in to her house and claimed they had rights to be there.

Think about the validity of stories like that and the purpose of them. Where was her family? Who is broadcasting this kinda crap and why? What specific rights do squatters even have? You can end up spreading really hateful rhetoric unintentionally,,

How would squatters take over a church? Why was it abandoned for that long without maintenance?
