I work in sex crimes (dv included) it is in fact men doing most of the abuse (and yes even to other men, it’s typically a male abuser). Yall “google” one thing see and ai comment and think it’s true when in reality light research into who is typically the abuser shows it’s WHITE MEN (most of the time)😭 pls learn how to research ffs.

If you actually look at the statistics, while it is true that lesbians experience intimate partner violence at a higher rate than straight women, a significant proportion of the perpetrators were male. There are lots of lesbians who have relationships with men at various points in their life - late blooming lesbians are a good example. Lesbians in hetero relationships who question their sexuality end up at risk of abuse.

When I say I feel bad for hetero women it’s because their only choice is to be alone forever or to deal with men’s bullshit forever because being in a wlw relationship is off the table for them. Men are statistically more violent than women, which disproportionately affects queer women, but at least queer women have the option to just never bother with men again without having to go the forever alone route.

Stop lying about women to justify your homophobia. Men are statistically more violent than women. Male violence and aggression is a culturally and societally enforced behavior. You can’t escape that fact. If you’re gonna misappropriate that domestic violence statistic then at least acknowledge what that statistic actually means, which is that queer women are particularly targeted by men like YOU who get angry (and often violent) at women for having the option to escape men.

During that time they’re often in relationships with men, and queer women who start questioning their sexuality while in a relationship with a man are disproportionately at risk of violence.

“Highest dv rates are lesbian” is actually false it’s higher in Bi women, and secondly if you look at the actual research it shows how DV even in wlw relationships is still done by mostly men BC DV isn’t just dating. 🙄 how are yall even in college bro
