Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of me being attacked. How do you even cope?

Don’t suffer alone, reach out to a trusted friend or family member. Take care of your basic needs, eat/drink a comfort meal, you’re likely to be especially vulnerable around the anniversary of your attack. Look into dialectical behavioural therapy or someone that specialises in trauma. If you need someone to talk to, I’m here.

“How do you even cope” isn’t directed at you, specifically. That’s not a helpful answer. Give OP advice on how to cope with their trauma, or let someone who has advice answer.

Thank you. I’m in therapy. I just feel so alone because I’m in college and my mom isn’t here. The only thing keeping me here is that I pressed charges and I have to get this case through trial, but it’s so hard and awful.
