I genuinely don’t think I said anything incorrect. You guys are choosing to take away the wrong points. Let’s use some inference skills we’re all college students, right? When I said “dating,” I wasn’t even talking about being in a relationship; I meant pursuing people and going on dates. I personally think it’s weird when someone completely erases POC from their dating pool purely because of their race. That’s my opinion.

Well, yes and no. To me, a preference isn’t absolute. You can prefer green apples and still eat a red apple. It’s hard for me to believe that someone’s skin complexion alone makes them unattractive. There’s no way, in my mind, that a person can’t find a single Black or brown woman or man attractive.

You can prefer blondes, but if you meet a really nice brunette who matches everything you want and has all the qualities you’re looking for, just with a different hair color, that’s what I consider a preference. But only giving blondes a chance and completely ruling everyone else out feels weird to me.
