People feel the same way with lgbtq stuff and race stuff. Most people dont have a problem with any demographic. They have a problem when people in that demographic make it their whole personality

i hate it when people make their mental health diagnoses their entire personality. they're REAL but "im rude sometimes but i fix it when i realize i didnt understand the social norm" & "ik im a bitch but im autistic so you can't fault me" are NOT the same

a great rule i've heard is don't crash out about an online opinion unless you've met 3+ people irl who think it too lol, i have not met any lgbtq people IRL who make it their whole personality, just online

A lot of the more uneducated people think complain about the internet but then think that the internet is reality. Their views of “the left” is really just “the online left” and the same is true for the other side
