the economy is rough rn for sure but I think a significant amount of people complaining about “barely surviving” with their wage just don’t know how to save money, spend it on expensive groceries, unnecessary beauty products, weed, vapes etc

Yes but also we shouldn’t have to spend that much money to just buy healthy things. All cheap food and products have literal poison in them.

I don’t think so, rent shouldn’t be over 3k for a 1 bed one bath when the minimum wage is 7$.

poor people deserve to enjoy things too. you can’t financial literacy and budget your way out of systemic poverty. you’re blaming suffering people for choices made by the government. scarcity doesn’t exist, the government just doesn’t care people are dying. children are hungry and you’re out here pressed that people aren’t counting pennies to your liking. you’re a sick person

Like it’s easy to point the blame on people’s spending habits but they should allowed to be able to afford basic necessities and most people can’t. It’s easy to look at ppl splurging and assume they have bad habits maybe they saved enough. It’s weird to judge.

Yes but not just about buying healthy vs unhealthy things I’ve noticed some people just buy like “convenience foods” if that makes sense or familiar favorites instead of prioritizing deals on bulk ingredients that you can cook a lot of meals with. Like not saying you need to live off ramen or cans of beans or anything but there’s def a middle ground

Oooh yea no I get what u mean. But kinda piggy packing off of #3, I think the real issue is society not ppls individual choices. There’s def an economic issue rn. Ppl can for sure use their money more wisely but that shouldn’t be the focus of the convo ya know
