Same with hating women. All the boomer jokes about hating their wives and shit; if they actually hated their wives they’d get a divorce, but they can’t. They hate the feeling of helplessness and demasculation they feel from relying on their wives for help and stuff around the house, so they make fun of them to demean household labor.
